Day 1.
Nairobi - Masai Mara
Pick up from
your hotel towards Maasai Mara with its amazing concentration of
wildlife and outstanding scenery. Arrive in time for lunch with a
game drive enroute to the lodge. Lunch and afternoon game drive in
these vast plains which boast of both spectacular animal and
birdlife population.
Dinner and
overnight.
Day 2. Maasai
Mara
Morning and
afternoon game drives in the finest game sanctuary in Kenya, with
the big five, birdlife and spectacular views from the hills and
ridges. Big lion prides, herds of wildebeests and elephants roam the
plains.
Optional
activities:
-Visit to a local
Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour
-Hot
air balloon ride
Day 3. Maasai
Mara - Lake Nakuru
Drive through the
Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift
Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of
the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although primarily a
bird sanctuary, animals such as zebras, gazelles, Rothschild
giraffe, impala, rhino (sanctuary) among other large mammals are
encountered with.
Dinner and
overnight.
Day 4. Lake
Nakuru - Nairobi
Morning game
viewing, watching and photographing birds at Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with an en route stop for
panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley at the view point to arrive
Nairobi in time for lunch. (Optional lunch at the Carnivore
Restaurant).
Transfer to
airport for flight home.
