This 10-day trip gives you the opportunity to enjoy the core destinations in Tanzania. For the next 10 days, experience the geological wonders of the Ngorongoro, the diversity of the Serengeti, and the Swahili culture of Zanzibar.
The guide will be there to welcome you once you arrive at Arusha. About 130 km from the city is Lake Manyara. The Lake Manyara National Park is a site worth visiting. The Lake is a Soda ash lake located on the floor of the Rift Valley and isolated from the city life. The Manyara enjoys a rich birdlife, notably the flamingos and Pelican species. While here, experience other fascinating sceneries including the tree climbing lions located in the park, cliffs peppered with a large baboon population, waterbucks, the Klipspringer, and the small dik-dik, plus many other faunas.
This alkaline lake is a stunning gem that stretches for 50km on the floors of the Rift Valley. It’s a beautiful gem worth your time.

About 2.5 million years ago, a massive active volcano collapsed on itself. This led to the formation of the largest caldera in the world. It stretches 260 square kilometres (100 square miles) and 610 meters deep (2000 meters). This geological marvel makes up one of the most fertile territories in Africa. As such, the region is rich in biodiversity including 25000 fauna species.
The crater floor also boasts of a vast array of predators, from King Lion to the elusive leopard and the elusive species such as the Servals, and bat-eared foxes.
Nothing rivals the biodiversity of the Ngorongoro like the beauty of the Serengeti. This region is famed for its wildebeest migration across the great Mara River. The Serengeti name is a Maasai term meaning ‘endless plains.’
Our guide will pick you up from your lodge at the Ngorongoro and drive you through the endless ‘Serengeti’ plains. You may choose to stop at the Olduvai Gorge, which is a highly treasured paleoanthropological site. The gorge is known as the ‘cradle of mankind’ as it holds evidence of the earliest human ancestry. You can also stop at the Lookout point or the Serengeti Welcome Centre for a meal.
Get your camera ready and bring your safari boots for this rare experience. Our professional guide will accompany you as you explore the vastness of the park. Aside from the big five, you may be lucky enough to get a glimpse of the black rhino. There is also a high concentration of topi, waterbucks, Coke’s hartebeest, and the African Dog. If you are a bird lover, then you will also be spoilt for choice with the park’s over 500 species.
This safari will begin in the morning, hours when the African sky tints the heavens with an orange shade. The sound of the wildebeests, or as the Maasai call them “Enkai’s (God) livestock welcome the morning with mooing, as the rich birdlife ushers in the break of day with a song. The Serengeti is a treasure that epitomizes the sacred theme of life. This park is indeed a photographer’s and wildlife enthusiasts paradise. Animals to watch out for include the giraffe, elephants, buffaloes, and impalas.
The afternoon at the park also has its treasures. You will spot a pride of lions lazing under trees and leopards hiding from the heat of the day.

There is more fun to be experienced in the park. On this day, you will get to visit a Maasai Village. This will give you a chance to enjoy the culture and learn more about the Serengeti from the Maasai tribe.
In the afternoon, game drives continue as you search for more wildlife at the park. This could be your chance to spot the rare wild dog or the hyenas as they feast on what the lion leftover.

After enjoying the thrills of the Serengeti, you will take an aircraft to the Zanzibar Beach. Zanzibar, or as it is locally known-Unguja, is rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. The island offers fantastic beaches along its eastern side. This UNESCO world heritage contains exciting features such as Arabian fortresses, Stone Town, and a Spice farm that dates back to the 19th century.
Geographically, Zanzibar is about 40km across and 100 km in length. You will experience white beaches, and on the Western side, there is the Zanzibar channel where the stone town is located. Across the Indian Ocean is the barrier reef cutting across the Indian Ocean. While on the beach, you can engage in activities such as scuba diving, sunbathing and site seeing. Also, the freshly made Seafood is enough to make the whole trip worthwhile.
Zanzibar offers a variety of recreational facilities to enjoy. You can choose a half-day or a full-day tour in which you get to enjoy the rich Swahili culture, the historic spice routes, Stone Town, and a culinary course.
Activities in Zanzibar include picnics at the Dolphin Sandbank, visiting a former slave market, relaxing at the Beach, snorkelling, reef kayaking, and deep-sea fishing. We leave the choice to you.
Take a historical tour of Stone Town. Your expert guide will take you through interesting sites such as the centuries-old Anglican Cathedral, the Sultans’ Palace Museum, the House of Wonders, the Old Arab Fort and the Old Dispensary. Take in the impressive architecture, fragrances at the food market and walk the sultan’s path through the winding narrow streets.
A visit to a spice farm will help you identify most of the spices used in our foods. Enjoy the rich aromas and sample their dishes.
