This safari gives you the opportunity to enjoy the rich wildlife in both Kenya and Tanzania. The abundant wildlife and the vegetation make for an awesome 10-day holiday. This is your chance to celebrate diversity. From the big five to some of the rare animals like the wild dogs, endangered species like the black rhinos and incredible flamingos and other birds. Experience the best of both countries in this luxury 10-day safari.


Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is one of East Africa’s hidden gems.
It is the 6th largest park in Tanzania and boasts of unique landscapes and incredible flora and fauna. Enjoy game drives that introduce you to large herds of elephants, cheetahs, lions, gazelles, warthogs, rhinos, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, and hartebeests.

Day 2From Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara and Karatu Park

Visit Lake Manyara after breakfast. This park is a bird paradise with over 400 bird species. It’s also rich in primate and wildlife-rich terrains.
Lake Manyara is a breeding ground for water birds, particularly, flamingos and waterfowl. After the game drive at Lake Manyara, a guide will take you for a nature trail. The nature trail is an incredible opportunity to go for bird watching, hiking and animal viewing.

Day 3Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will visit the largest caldera in the world, the Ngorongoro. This crater is one of the most fertile regions in Africa. The territory boasts of diverse flora and fauna. The terrain and depth of the caldera is an aesthetic wonder that boggles the mind.
The game drive will be an excellent chance to see the crater’s pack of carnivores including the leopard and the African jackals. Other creatures see include the Thomson’s gazelles, wildebeests, and the mountain reedbucks. Ngorongoro is also home to the rare black rhino.
Lunch will be at a designated picnic spot and then we start our journey to the Serengeti national park.
This park is famous for a vast array of wildlife and the great migration.

Day 4Serengeti National Park

Enjoy more of the Serengeti today. After breakfast, you get to enjoy a game drive or a visit to a Maasai village. Alternatively, you can quench your adventure spirit by going for the hot air balloon ride at an additional cost.
Other sites to explore are the Serengeti visitor centre and the Olduvai Gorge. Depending on the time, you can enjoy another game drive before your return to the lodge.

Day 5From the Serengeti to Lake Victoria

Enjoy a morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti. Aside from the big five, you will get to see the African Wild dog, leopards, and other elusive creatures.
Lake Victoria is the largest lake in East Africa. This vast water mass is a fisherman’s paradise for the local people. The region is also a fertile and densely populated region. You will get to enjoy a panoramic view of Tanzania.
Experience some of the local cultures by watching the fisherman hard at work or visiting a local school.
Spend the night at the Lodge. All meals included.

Day 6From the Lake to the Mara

After breakfast, you will take a canoe trip on Lake Victoria. This will be your chance to see the local fishermen catch fish using traditional techniques.
We depart immediately after the canoe ride for the Maasai Mara. It’s a long journey from Tanzania to the Mara but it’s also full of adventure.
The dominant creature in the Maasai Mara park is the lion. The Mara boasts of the largest lion population in Africa. Other large cats can be spotted all year round since they do not migrate.

Day 7 & 8Maasai Mara Game Reserve

These two days will be spent at the Maasai Mara. A morning game drive starts at the Mara river which cuts across the reserve. It is at this river that wildebeests and zebras get to cross from the Serengeti while battling the jaws of crocodiles and land predators. The best time to visit the Mara is when the river is bursting at the seams after a rainfall in the mountains. The diverse fauna is a scene to remember.
The park is home to the big five although the black rhino is slowly becoming rare. Other animals to look out for include the Thomson’s gazelle, eland, bat-eared fox, the spotted hyena, impala, elephant, black-backed jackal, reedbuck, topi, buffalo, and giraffe.

Day 9From the Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru is stunning. It’s home to a huge population of flamingos that turn the lake pink. It also hosts more than 450 other bird species.
Enjoy the stunning view of the landscape along with the Njoro River that cuts across the park. Head off to Lake Nakuru park after breakfast and enjoy watching animals such as the Waterbucks, Rothschild’s giraffes, and buffaloes. Overnight at camp/ lodge. All meals included.

Day 10From Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will head off to Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. This will take about 3-4 hours. After arrival, and depending on your schedule, you can enjoy city life or go directly to the airport.
