Tour Details

This safari allows you to experience outstanding Tanzania’s wildlife on either a walking safari, game drives or night time safaris. This allows you to leave Tanzania having seen the big five and other animals, including the nocturnal ones. This also includes watching one of the greatest wonders of the world- the great migration! Watch as the animals migrate from one park to another or move with them and get your adrenaline kicking in this exhilarating adventure. The safari also offers you a chance to recuperate and relax on the Zanzibar beaches while exploring their culture. It’s a safari that offers you the total holiday solution with enough memories to last you a lifetime!


Day 1Pick up at Arusha airport

Our driver will pick you up at Arusha airport. They will then drop you off at your hotel for dinner and overnight. Get some good rest in preparation for the incredible safari that starts in the morning.

Day 2Tarangire National Park

Your safari to Tarangire starts immediately after breakfast. So many wild animals call this park home. The glorious landscapes that feature baobabs, woodlands and acacia trees make Tarangire a glamorous haven with awesome experiences.
It has a high elephant concentration and bird life. Other animals include the giraffes, the starling, gazelles, greater kudu, fringe-eared Oryx, lions, hartebeests, wildebeests, tree climbing pythons, and leopards.
After dinner, you embark on a guided night game drive. This is a great time to see the nocturnal animals like the porcupines, bush babies, leopards, Aardvarks, bush babies, and many more.

Day 3Mto wa Mbu and later to Lake Manyara National Park

Today morning starts with a walk to Mto wa Mbu, a bustling farming community with over 120 different tribes living together. A guide from the village will take you through the farms, churches, markets and milling machines.
Your tour starts with the banana plantations with over 30 different banana varieties. This will be followed by lessons on how to grow them and their different uses. The town also has artists and woodworkers who are more than happy to share their craft.
With luck, you get to taste the local beer made from bananas and millet. Finish the tour on the market where you can buy a variety of spices, vegetables and fruits.
Continue your tour to Lake Manyara, known for its huge population of Flamingos. Great walking safaris offer the incredible opportunity to learn about the different plants and their medicinal value. Game drives at the lake unravel different animals, including the waterbucks, Impalas, wildebeests and the dik-dik. You may also spot a tree climbing lion, a phenomenon that has no explanation and which makes this lake a huge attraction.

Day 4Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro is the epitome of all Africa safaris. This is your opportunity to view all the big five in one place. The caldera offers stunning views of the rich grazing grounds and the many animals that live here, including the tusked elephants, the roaming leopards (that are a rare sighting in other parks), the huge herds of buffaloes, the zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, jackals, topis, elands, baboons, and the spotted hyenas.
If lucky, you may spot the rare Caracal, golden cat or Serval roaming the plains. The Ngorongoro crater is also a haven for bird watchers with the more than 200 bird species found here.

Day 5Ndutu area

The Ndutu area forms part of the great migratory route. During the months of December to May, the area becomes a calving area for the migratory animals. This attracts numerous predators who come to feast on the weak and young.
You can watch other animals, including the elephants, giraffes and other big cats as they gather at the waterholes. The Ndutu area is also famous for housing all the six-cat species, including the Serval, lion, leopard, the African wild cat, cheetah, and the Caracal.

Day 6Ndutu area

Enjoy the full servings of the Ndutu area by moving with the migrating herds. It’s an exhilarating experience as the hooves of the animals pound the ground in the thousands.
Ndutu area allows off-road game drives and this is a great opportunity to watch hunting cats in action. Other animals to see include the warthogs, giraffes, hyenas, and many more.

Day 7Serengeti National Park

We will leave the Ndutu area and head to the Serengeti immediately after breakfast. An afternoon game drive at the Serengeti will introduce you to the stunning wildlife and numerous birds. Some of these include the elephants, warthogs, cheetahs, ostriches, Aardvarks, and so many more.

Day 8Serengeti National Park

The tranquillity of the Serengeti adds to the phenomenon that is the great migration.
The game drives will give you an opportunity to watch the great migration of wildebeests, gazelles and zebras crowd together as they kick dust and pound hooves on the now dry plains of the savannah.
The predators, including the lions and crocodiles, lie in wait for the weaklings and the young ones.

Day 9From Serengeti to the beaches of Zanzibar.

After breakfast, the driver will take you to the Seronera Airstrip. From here, you will take a flight to Zanzibar where upon arrival, another driver will transfer you to the resort. Freshen up, get some dinner and overnight rest. The resort offers you a view of the beach while the calming waves lull you to sleep.

Day 10Zanzibar beach

Explore the beach at your own leisure. Dip your toes in the sand, go for a swim or visit the turtle reserve. A village walk is also an option once you need a change from the beach. Other activities include scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, and jet skiing. You get to swim with different marine life species including the fish, octopus, barracudas, and many more.
Sailing is also a good way to spot the dolphins.

Day 11Zanzibar

We explore the Jozani forest, the tranquil and beautiful forest known for the unique colobus monkeys. The guides will introduce you to the plethora of plants and trees that are a source of amazing natural remedies.
Apart from the rare red colobus monkey, the forest is also home to bushbabies, numerous birds, and different butterfly species.
The Stone Stone Town is an explorer’s haven. The narrow streets from a labyrinth of alleyways that are fun to explore. The cultural tour introduces you to the food market with delicious cuisines. Visit the old fort and tour the ruins, the rich religious culture, tasteful restaurants, architectural gems and the rich gardens. The town’s different cultures, including the Arabs, Persians, and Europeans make it unique.

Day 12Zanzibar

Today explore and enjoy Zanzibar through your own eyes. All meals will be provided at the resort.

Day 13 Dar es Salaam.

The morning and evening will be a time for you to either relax at the beach or explore the Zanzibar. A driver will pick you up in the afternoon and take you to the airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam.
